I reported to my car insurance how often I commute to work from 1 day/week to now 4 days/week and guess what, my insurance shot up to $60 a month. I was currently at $180 to now $246/month, wtf. For context, in Los Angeles, clean driving record, no history of anything, 29 years old, 2019 sedan Si. Rub it in ya'll and also, I'm curious, what's your insurance rate for your Si?

I pay under $200/month for my 2020 Civic Si, 2020 Corolla XSE, and 2005 CRV EX all have full coverage. When I added my civic is was like $70 a month. I am 35 and my wife and I drive about 15k miles a year each. I have geico.

25, type R, mid-south, 90/month for third-party and collision w/1000 deductible. 11k miles/yr, statefarm bundled with a home. I had a Si before the type R and only went up slightly with the Type R.
Start looking for another insurance. IDK if it has something to do with LA traffic or whatever, but that is super high to me

$240 full coverage a month. I have shitty rates because of my driving records and my love for coupes. Pretty much almost all my past cars were coupes. $90 liability only a month for 96 civic ex coupe, $130 full coverage 13 accent se hatchback, estimated $130 liability only a month 03 tiburon gt(never bought insurance for this car because most companies blacklisted me for 2 years and only progressive will cover me). I drove the tiburon gt with no insurance for 2 years of owing the car till I sold it. When I tested the insurance websites if you state your car is 2 or 4 doors, the price changes a lot. For me it was 40% more expensive to own a coupe. Apparently insurance penalizes people for buying 2 doors

I know everyone’s experience is going to be different, but you should really shop around. I have maxed out coverage limits, $500/$100 deductibles, roadside, rental, etc. and only pay $51 per month with Progressive. They also have me in at around 15k miles a year, 5 days a week. Been with them for 2-3 renewals now, rate has stayed the same.

Someone has to pay for all the people driving around without insurance.

Definitely shop around. I'm paying just under $130/month for my 2020 HB Sport and 2007 Fit Sport. I'm with Wawanesa. Full coverage, $500 deductibles. They were ranked the best auto insurance provider in CA by JD Power.
