Can you run a 245/40/20 on the R for winter?

Looking at winter tire options, anyone fit these on an R? is it possible?

You can not. It is over +7.4% different in wheel diameter.. entire wheel will be 2" bigger.. .
I did use 245/35R20... wheel is still bigger but it will works .. many ppl use that to avoid bending rims and the tire is cheaper..

For winter.. just get 18"... 245/40r18 is are cheaper.. and get a set of winter rims to go with it
