do you mean in the cargo area? I put a hitch on and carry three bikes that way. With rear seats down, I could get the same three bikes in the cargo area, but it'd be a mess.

Yes, I bought a mountain bike and was able to fit in the cargo area (rear seats folded down) with front tire on. It was in a odd position, but it worked

Yes in the cargo area. Good to know if I need to transport both of them

I've tossed mine into the cargo area with the seats down and the front tire off. Fits with no problem. Made my SeaSucker Talon obsolete.

I want to keep the bike fully assembled if possible
It'll work, but unless you're using a bolt-thru hub, modern quick-release wheels are easy to take off anyway.

I don't have a mountain bike anymore, but I've put my road bike in my FK7 with the front wheel on.

anyone know if you can get a bike in the back upright? With the front wheel off and saddle out, of course.

Good to know people have fit mtb's in their coupes. I am looking to get my civic in the coming months. I am going to have to carry (not together) my road bike, which I can take the front wheel off if needed and my fsr mtb, which sounds like it might even fit without taking the front wheel off.

I put a complete mountain bike with both wheels on in my sedan, with rear seats down. It took a while because it wasn't easy to find the exact combination of pedals and handle position to make it slide inside.
