Hello everyone, I just recently bought a 2021 and I'm fairly new to the platform. I had a quick question is it possible to use conical lug nuts on Type R OEM wheels?
Thanks for your time!

He is right. I have tried to do it before and what happens is the conical edge of the lug nut digs into the spherical seating surface. You can tell you're damaging the wheel as your torque it down and it doesn't get tight the way it should. Don't do it.

I suggest you buy actual ball seat lug nuts and do not use any adaptor/converter. Buy from Honda dealer if you cannot find aftermarket. Don't cheap out on a few dollars and result in thousands of dollars damage. At most it will be ~$100-200 from dealer.

I think he wants those fancy colorful lightweight wheel nuts, but does not want aftermarket wheels yet. I can imagine that.

I have not seen them yet. People here prefer the OEM black M14 lugnuts.
