1.5T Can I drive the PRL Cobra intake without ktuner?

I have currently put myself in a terrible situation by installing the air intake before the ktuner just to find out the ktuner is still locked to a different vin. I will eventually get the ktuner issue resolved whether its by getting a new one or unlocking the old one but ultimately I still need to get around in the meantime. A friend suggested I stay under 3k rpms to help me stay out of boost. Is this a potential way of going about this until then? Thank you

If the street maf, you should be OK. If it’s race maf, tune is required.

I don’t think starting it should be an issue. I’d personally keep any driving to an absolute must situation only.

Put it back to stock until you get the KTuner issue resolved. The RACE MAF will cause you numerous negative issues long term without a proper tune.
