Heck I'll be going to ski resorts/mountains when I get mine. The hatch is gonna be great hauling the gears!

Brave to do forest service roads on the OEM wheels. Don't think that's something I would try. We have no spare.

Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Added attraction of M-58, 45 miles of paved sweepers, and little traffic.

Da UP eh?

Im a self exiled michigander myself. Spent more time than I can remember "up north". I know this car would be a hoot up in yooper land

Must be us Michiganders! I love camping in my Civic hatch. First time was at Indiana Dunes state park, and last time was Allegheny National Forrest when I met my daughter for a hiking weekend. She has the black Jeep Grand Cherokee, I’m the white civic, at Jake’s Rock, Allegheny.

The gravel was bad! Those tires are so sticky, they pick up everything. Drove 10 mph on the gravel. Drove a bit faster on the paved road...took my daughter up for hiking, when it was days new. Got some 18's with All-Seasons soon after, for winter. Also got the spare.

We have been camping with the R throughout Michigan for a few years now! Love it due to the space and practicality.

We even sleep in the R during cold rainy nights :) it’s very comfortable!

Had a blast spending a 3 day weekend camping with the R up in our beloved national forest here in PA. I realize not most guys around here would use there's for camp trips, but it actually worked out real well for me on it's maiden voyage camping. I'm an avid camper, hiker/ outdoor enthusiast adventurer. It swallowed up all my gear(and 4 seven gallon jugs of water..we drink spring water) with plenty of room to spare for more. I had a blast driving up and back, and to and fro from my hikes thru the mountains here. I also have a lifted 4x4 Expedition on 34s for the gnarlier terrain n deeper snow times, but the R is gonna work great 9 months of the year for me.

Here's some pics of my campsite on the river views, and from my hikes...sorry you gotta see my old ugly mug...??

Anyone else here camp outta there's? Or outdoor lovers? Jus curious. I'm sure some of you will laugh, scoff, and say hell no I wouldn't use it for camping. To each there own tho.

Cheers ?

Camping with the CTR sounds like a fantastic adventure! There's something special about hitting the great outdoors with your trusty car. While you're at it, if you ever want to take a break from the wilderness and experience some thrilling rides and attractions, you might want to check out some of the best US theme parks. They can add an extra dose of fun to your camping trips.

Took mine to Colorado with the wife and we hung out waiting for Sting to start at RedRocks - I got a couple feather pads and a yoga mat below and we just hung out having the best time.
