do yo guys have any feedback on the C&R intercooler? Any comparison to other intercoolers like PRL, HKS , ETC. Is this worth changing over to?
My initial testing has shown better IATs and ECTs since moving to the C&R compared to my old HKS. I feel the boost come on smoother. A bit better top end power too

Small gain in IATs, but huge gains in overall airflow through to the radiator. Both IATs and ECTs drop significantly faster compared to having the HKS. I didn't dyno the car with the HKS so I can't quantify the data unfortunately.

Will the C&R radiator work with all inter coolers/piping and retain its stock location during install?

Pretty sure it will. It’s about the same size as a Koyorad.

May require some light grinding of the edge where the Intercooler piping passes to prevent rubs.

Works with the Wagner Tuning and it’s silicone hoses.

I have mine on the way thanks to the sale. Looking forward to seeing how it works on an otherwise stock engine.
Let us know how it works out for you :)

@Lust Thanks to you and a few others that have tested and reported on the C&R radiator I decided to purchase the Street variant for my needs, I don't intend to do a lot of engine mods, and am currently stock. Majority of my driving is on the street, but in the event I can actually make it to a track day (I see myself as an intermediate driver) I wanted to help get an extra lap or two before cooling down. Also thanks for the heads up on the Sale, which is what prompted me to take the bite. So it's on the way!!!

With me pushing 10/10ths I wasn't able to get the car into limp mode. Coolant temperatures averaged around 230ish and peaked around 250 when behind traffic for a few laps. I hit 250F around halfway through my 20 minute session. I did 1 cool down lap and was on my way again for the rest of the session. Temps immediately fell to 190-200F.
Sorry to bump this thread from the dead, but wondering what kinda ECT's would be considered safe to run for this car. I ask because I'm wondering if my setup isn't doing a good enough job. This past weekend at Streets, I hit about 232F max, and was normally between 220-225 while pushing 10/10th. Ambient temp was around 83F.
