I think it was something like $450 for the cooler core alone. It will re-use the remainder of the HKS oil cooler parts.

What is the price of this kit?

any oil temp data to back up claims of the other competitors oil coolers being over run?
I have hks oil cooler. Highest oil temperature recorded is 228°F during a 20min track session in 90°F+ weather. Ect’s in the 210-220max range. Consistent 1:43 lap times(Homestead-Miami Speedway).

Bump.

Last donor vehicle didn’t work out. Please DM me if you’re in the Indianapolis area and are willing to drop your car off for a few days. Thanks :)

Another update.

C&R are leaning towards a side mounted oil cooler kit similar to that of HKS/GReddy however they say less modification is required. The side mount oil cooler they feel is better than a center mount solution that would block crucial airflow to the radiator.

A donor car is also in the works which would allow more development to continue

I take it no ‘20-21’s will work with this then...

It can work. You’ll have to delete the cruise control module unfortunately

Damn, there's no way they can mount it in the right fog light area? I really don't want to delete the honda sensing module.

They said the feedback they got was that the 2020 owners didn’t want to delete the horn and washer fluid reservoir

You can relocate the horn. I don't think I've ever used my washer system. I use cruise function all the time. ?‍♂

2 years ago there was an oil cooler kit using two HKS cores.

For the right side, they just relocated the horn and used a denso windshield fluid bag. I don't really need to install an oil cooler until late December so I'm still going to watch how the kit develops.

Donor car should be arriving tomorrow! After sharing the feedback with Cory, they said they’ll have to look into the passenger fog light area as a strong option. Nothing set in stone yet. A group buy will also be available for the first 10 people at a discounted price :)
