@Lust i probably missed it but what’s the core upgrade part #? I know my greddy one is a POS and want to try this one.
@fatherpain should have the part number. IIRC it only work with the HKS oil cooler kit and is a special order item.

Ahhh dang. Mounting looked so close to Greddy I was willing to try it. Didn't realize my Greddy kit has an updated core vs the old blue one. Guess I'll see how it works before changing anything

I think the GReddy cores are decent. The biggest problem with that kit is the lack of a proper duct.

Yea I’ve tried the greddy one before, then went HKS. Now I’m back to greddy on my 2021 so I don’t have to modify the duct for Honda sensing

I ordered directly through Cory at C&R Racing… so don’t know the part number, just that it was the HKS oil cooler core upgrade.

I believe this is for the HKS kit only… however there’s a chance C&R could adjust it to fit a GReddy kit. Worth reaching out to check, if know the dimensions.

I say this because the C&R updated core didn’t initially fit. Sent it back and they made the necessary adjustments. Hopefully they could do the same for a GReddy.

Got in contact with PWR and they sent me photos of their prototype. Looks like a good piece of kit; replaces the brake duct vent so it will work for us 2020+ guys with Honda Sensing in the left foglight housing. I have the Paragon BBK so Brownbos aren't a concern for me. The rep said that it's using their 14 row plate and fin cooler. The rep mentioned that they will release it soon and that he'd send an email on an ETA for the US release.

I much rather keep my greddy and brake duct.

although I’m not sure the brake duct really does much honestly.

This might be the move tbh especially now that most of us are outgrowing the stock brake calipers and are moving to a BBK anyways.

Any update on this? Similar concept to HEL’s one but has a larger opening but obviously sacrificing the brake duct.

HEL chose to split the duct into two channels which is really neat in design and theory but I wonder how much airflow in reality considering the relatively small opening.

I haven't gotten an email from them. I can probably send them an facebook message again to ask about the oil cooler

Got a message from them on Nov 13 stating that they just shipped the prototype to the US to finalize fitment. So pretty much, more waiting but things seem to be moving forward.

So for those that want to keep the brake duct, Go with HKS/CR Core. How much is the CR core?

You can email the PWR NA rep at:

[email protected]

Testing units have been set out a while ago according to their instagram. Hopefully there's no fitment issues
