I am currently looking into purchasing a 27WON cold air intake and I was wondering if anybody runs a bypass valve on their intake to prevent hydro locking in the event of heavy rain and high water?

You shouldn't have an issue with hydrolock with the 27WON intake. The filter sits in the stock location. Bypass valve wouldn't have anything to do with hydrolock or an intake.

I have a 27WON intake and had to drive through a flooded street. The water came halfway up my door. (I'm stock height) and the car pushed through like nothing. I was going at least 10mph through that street. I was genuinely impressed, intake definitely saved my car that day.
