So I posted a question in the audio forum and didn't get any responses. Wanted to rephrase the question here to see if maybe someone can shed some light on what my problem is.
Basically the car makes what seems to be a faint buzz/static noise out of the front passenger area when letting off the gas and it goes away when reapplying the gas. Also notice it goes away once the clutch is fully pressed in. It seems to me it's coming from the speaker but I can't be 100% sure since I had a passenger in the car hear it too but couldn't exactly place it. It most obviously happens when in the 45-75 mph range after letting off the gas after a hard acceleration. It is definitely some kind of electrical interference type sound and happens no matter which source the stereo is on, even when off and even with the Bluetooth unpaired. Assuming it was absolutely not coming from the speaker, what else could it be? As a reference, I had my throwout bearing go out in my BMW not that long ago and this sound is nothing like that. I explained that sound more like a mechanical dentists drill. I also noticed this after I received the car back from the dealer after they were realigning the front bumper which had a gap in it(which they only made worse) so not sure if it could have anything to do with that or either I didn't notice it before or just coincidence. Any idea from anyone would be greatly appreciated as I'm taking the car in on Friday and I'm very afraid of the dealer saying they can't find the problem and being stuck with this car and it's annoying buzz!
