buying Ktuner

after christmas i will be buying a Ktuner but not sure how to yet

i browsed the site a bit and it asked all sorts of stuff im not sure how to answer.

my car is the 2017 hatchback sport 6MT and right now its all stock but want to get more out of the car.

Ktuner is not application specific. If you want the touchscreen display, get the V2. If not and you just want to use a laptop for everything, V1 is a bit cheaper. Several of our site sponsors sell them, and they are even available on Amazon. (like everything else these days)

There are included tunes. The tunes are listed on the application page for this vehicle, as linked above.

Quick question. If I was running the base Stage 1 or Stage 2 tunes, would it run ok on 89 octane (not much knocking) or would I be better off on 91?

You'll always be better off with higher octane. 91+ recommended!

and thanks to @KTuner most recent release, you now no longer need a laptop to datalog if you buy the new v1.2!!
