So I got 1k miles on my civic and I decided to play with the throttle and go all out right after I idled for minute. The car started giving off a burning smell but went away after I stopped full acceleration and continued normal driving. Is this normal for new car or 1.5t or should I send it back for checks? Not trying to blow my engine later on.

Manufacturing oil/grease burning off. Also could be the cat just doing it's thing, the smells will go away after a you start giving it the beans more often.
