Some good shots showing off the Burgundy Night Pearl color on a 2016 Honda Civic Sedan Touring (1.5L CVT) The deep Burgundy color really shows in the sun.

The Motor Trend photos are also of a Burgundy Night Pearl Civic.

Very cool color in the sun! Almost very dark purple-ish. Probably looks black in cloudy or dark conditions so Burgundy Night will have a cool color changing effect.

They should call this color Sex Panther :D For any Ron Burgundy fans ;)

Anyone thinks the car roofline from the B pillar back looks like the Tesla Model S?

Yea all the fastback sedans have a similar rear roofline look - Tesla S, Audi A7, Panamera and the Civic sedan. I'm a fan of the look vs the traditional trunk.

I like lighter colors bc dark colors like this are a PITA to keep clean but this looks like a unique color with lots of metallic flake.

It's the angle in the third pic next to the bmw (5 or 7??) that blows me away. I just can't believe I'm looking at a civic sedan. And I agree--does look a bit like the Tesla.

Yeah, thats what got me hyped for the 2016. It doesn't look like an economy car anymore. It looks like a car above that class for sure.

Looks like it belongs right there in a more upscale class.

Burgundy Night is probably the most interesting color so far w/ its chameleon effect. Looks black, purplish, or brownish depending on the light and angle.

My Civic is the same color and the only annoying thing about it is that you have to keep it really clean to show off the color. If it's dirty it's pretty much black. But it sure is beautiful when it's clean.
