1.5T Burble/Crackle Tune

Hey guys, Im looking to see if anyone has any insight on how to get a burble/crackle tune to work via ktuner (if possible)

Before you say anything, YES I understand the risks & how bad this can be for your engine. I am currently catless with a GReddy exhaust so please don’t tell me how this can damage my cat.

I only get minimal burbles right now via fuel cut delay but I’m looking for something more. I can’t seem to cut ignition via ktuner & the car doesn’t want to kick into negative timing.

if you’re willing to share any tips, I would really appreciate it

Can't you just enable anti-lag on Ktuner and get crackles?

I've never tried it but anti-lag is the "functional" implementation of crackles. I'd think you'd get at least some with it enabled.

Any "crackle tune" is going to heavily risk damage to the stock turbo and cat.

Cutting the exhaust half way up is even cheaper

What if a person have their engine rebuilt, with aftermarket pistons and rods? Then get aftarmarket spark plugs and an aftermarket, high horsepower cat converter. Will they be able to withstand a crackle tune then? Maybe re-sleeve the block to avoid any......cracks.

Just to antilag a "small" turbo to make noises. That person should check his mental health xD

Thermal R&D had some good crackles on decel on my 6MT.
