Hey all!
So I already know it's possible to do a swap from the stock sedan bumpers to the sport/si-style bumpers. I'm not after the si badge, if I get si bumpers I'll be debadging it or painting it black. I just like the more aggressive stance that the si bumpers give the sedan with those larger fake vents. As a starting point, I got a quote from my dealership who estimate $4500 +HST(Ontario) for the job--I was floored.
Has anyone priced out this swap, be it for a sedan, coupe, or hatch? I've seen prices online for painted bumpers ranging from $600-$950 for a front bumper, & about $100 less for the rear. I want OEM fitment & colour match obviously, but $5K for a bumper swap? Maybe my expectations are too high, but that seems overpriced. I can do the installation myself, I just want to know if anyone has seen better prices, or can recommend a supplier.
