Just got my car back from the dealer for some rodent repair. They told me they had to remove the front bumper to replace the front end harness. The sides where the bumper meets the fenders seems to be aligned but I think where the bumper meets the hood has a bigger than normal gap. Am I crazy?

Looks normal to me. If you open the hood you will see all the retainers that hold that upper bumper cover in place. There's no way for it to be in a different position if the retainers are installed.

My guess is that a mouse of something got behind the bumper and started showing on wires. Hard to see it sometimes. From what I understand there were some issues with rodents as Honda used recycled material to make some wiring looms, might be soy based and rodents may be attracted to it.

Could also be just a mouse looking for a home especially as temperatures get colder. Happens some times. I worked on a car before where a mouse filled the air filter housing of a car with cat food and the car was sluggish as it couldn’t pull any air in.

Rat got in and chewed up my wires lol. Dealer replaced the whole engine harness and front end harness.

I think your hood looks 'as good as it gets'. I just recently installed a device under the hood of my subaru, was finding droppings on top of the plastic intake manifold... I check it every week, will check this weekend to see if it helped.
I tried some Mint repellent, didn't help at all...
