I have recently purchased my si and am in the process of trying to get it back to tip top shape seeing as the previous owner was not shy of the pedal. I got the ktuner to eventually put a tune but in the mean time I am using it to monitor and learn.

As you can see in the pictures there was 2 instances of the injectors working as intended however the rest of the time they are no where near the target. I also noticed that the DIFP Target is maxed at 2000 psi and the DIFP is at 60000 psi at some points which is a bit alarming as well.

I am just trying to understand what can cause this as to avoid it in the future and how best to resolve this issue. Also interested in the problems this might present in the near future. Am using Lucas injector cleaning additive currently and just installed brand new spark plugs. The old ones appeared to be blackened which I think means the engine is running rich.

Injector failure has been a common problem popping up recently. Seems to occur mostly with tuned cars. 60-100k miles seems to be the range where they fail with regular use.

I’ve heard they have been changed as well and have a new part number.

I can’t really get technical with you or analyze your charts as they don’t mean a whole lot to me, just telling you what i’ve seen in posts over the last year or two.
