What's up everyone, just wanted to share my custom exhaust build.

To start, I really would love to get the HKS exhaust for the Si, but $900 is a bit much. So I setup my exhaust to mimic the HKS.

It's a very simple setup: Vibrant Street Power muffler, Vibrant Ultra Quiet resonator and 2 4-inch burnt tips.

Total cost from Amazon: $200

To get everything put on, another $200. So, all in all, not bad for a $400 custom build.

It sounds like a resonator delete setup inside, but deeper. On the highway, there's very little to no drone just cruising in 6th around 65 - 70 mph. From the outside, the tone sounds like a combination of a Borla and Invidia exhaust, but of course those units have a better tone. However, the tone of this setup is not ricey and obnoxious at all. Just right for a daily driver in my opinion.

So far so good and I like the setup. For anyone looking into a custom setup, I would certainly recommend going with Vibrant because the build quality on the muffler and resonator are great with a reasonable price.

It looks good. You know you will need to add a sound clip

I have the same exhaust without the disco tips and the stock resonator. I think mine might be a little deeper sounding. Not sure about comparative volume

Do you know what brand tips those are? I’m looking to do just a muffler delete and do a dual tip set up and love the look of those
