I have owned nearly every gen Civic Si, now it was time to upgrade to the next one.

Bio-
Huge Honda fan! Ex Honda tech, super glad to only be turning wrenches on my own cars nowadays. I have many build threads going on at once, so I will be using this as a glimpse into my other builds, but focusing on the 18 Si.

Current projects: 1988 Honda crx Si - Built GSR turbo, goal 450hp street car - I have owned this car for 16 years.
IMG_4703.jpg

The car is stripped down and ready for paint.
IMG_4805.jpg

Should be done with paint at the then of Aug so I can start re-building.

92 Civic cx - The Zero - Turbo GSR dragcar
IMG_5210.jpg

IMG_5235.jpg

The Zero is a dirty build using leftovers from the crx.

And Finally my 2018 Si!
IMG_5147.jpg

Was going to buy a TypeR, but couldn't find one at retail so I ordered a 2018 MDM coupe, the profile looks so much like a hatchback I had to have the coupe.

Got it with 3 miles, lasted to 6 miles before I started modding it.
IMG_5156.jpg

Volk OG TE37's Bronze 18x9.5 +22, and 8.5 +22. It has some streched tires from my 8th gen build on them, but I have 245/40/18 Falken RT615k's coming in today, along with Eibach pro springs.
IMG_5158.jpg

I'll try to take some better pictures once its lowered with the new tires.

Future mods: HFP Red mats, TypeR emblems, Black out the awful chrome window trim, enjoy it for a few thousand miles stock to break in the clutch then get a Ktuner is the plan.

Has anyone else had rust around some of the welds on the inside of the fenders under the hood? My car has 2oo miles on it, was built in June 2018, and I keep finding small spots of rust on it.

Did Honda stop using seam sealer or what?

No updates on the Si really. It has sat this way up to 500 miles, then put away for the winter.

My other projects have really been kicking off lol

I got a totalled S2000 that I fixed up.

Moved into a huge heated shop with a friend. Plans have kind changed for the Si, I will be keeping it mostly stock then building the other cars.

The CRX is a 450hp driver, Zero is a full drag car, and the s2000 will be used for road racing. If any of you care about these other builds I'll keep posting about them as I work on the cars, if not I'll only update this as I make progress on the 2018 si.

Got 2 lifts for our shop!

The s2000 is being built for the street class at Gridlife midwest this year! Our big sponsor Office Sign Company is wrapping it to match my Zero drag EG.

Got a AP2 front bumper, new quarter panel, R1 coilovers, new wheels + Tires that max out the OEM fenders coming :)

The crx will be getting finished up hopefully by spring so I can finally start putting some miles on it.

No updates on the 10th gen, or plans to mod it besides wheels that fit better, lowering springs, and a type R lip.

I couldn't handle it anymore, had to pull her out of storage to move over to the new shop. Driving Falken Azenis in the winter is REALLY bad haha

Detailed, then put back to rest for another month till winter is truly gone.

The s2000 is coming together, track day in 2 weeks at MidOhio! Its getting wrapped right now, so should look like a new car when I get it back.

S2000 got wrapped for Gridlife Ohio, hope to see some of you guys out there. Its my first event so I'll be in HPDE until I feel confident enough for TA.

Picked up a Type R lip for the 10th gen as well. I might sell the volks, and buy wheels the fit better then finally lower the car.
