My new SGP civic is going to need brakes soon and I figure I’ll do a Brembo kit from SlickFab.

the car currently has bronze wheels but I think I’m gonna swap those for black ones.

what color should I for on the calipers?

I have black 27won brakes on the white one and I feel like red is common

Red will contrast nice with whichever color wheels you go with.

I agree. Know what I was also thinking, tho this would be a pain in the ass… swap the black 27Won over and put red Brembo on the white car

I had the same dilemma as you. Ultimately, in the end I went with the standard OEM color.
Sometimes, at certain angles, the gold wheels fight with the red caliper. :catfight:

Hopefully in the future I can upgrade to a different style black finished wheel.

No, I was able to cut a lot of cost by purchasing each part from different vendors over the span of 8 months.
Collecting the parts 'a la carte' cost me around $600. I could have saved more on shipping if I didn't live on an island surrounded by the ocean. ?

I've included the part numbers and additional information if you decide to follow the same path: https://www.civicx.com/forum/threads/using-genesis-brembo.37072/page-10#post-1043969

Oh, sorry to make it long winded! Yes, I catalogued all the parts needed from the Slickfab kit. I did purchase the rotor centering ring/hardware kit from him. He's a super cool dude and took the time out to chat with me about the rotor specifications. Albeit, I was asking the same questions he's heard a thousand times; he was incredibly patient.

Can't wait to see what you decide to do!
