I have a 2016 Civic LX with just under 40K miles of mostly highway driving. I'm due for a B1 service in a bit, but last time the car was in for regular maintenance, they said I needed my brake and transmission fluid changed. It's my understanding that there are maintenance minders for these services - and they haven't popped up yet. I've got a quote for $499 for the B1 ($120) and then the brake ($180) and transmission ($199) work. Is it worth having it done now or should I wait for the maintenance minder?
