Did you lubricate your brakes once a year?
No I don't , I learn that here few months ago. I want to do it , I know now it is a must.
Always had drum rear drum brake on my other cars, never had any issue.

I'm very desappointed by Honda fragile rear disc brake

Last time I did it, I removed all the rotors and put anti-seized on the hubs, it will be easier to remove when I do a complete brake job.
I use to have Corolla with drums in the rear, I never touch it either

My small town mechanic where I go since 20 years ( never at a dealer ) charge me $25 cnd for each wheel . I'll give him the job for the 2016 LX , too much rust. I wish to do myself this job on my 2018

I haven’t done a brake job yet but I hope to do it myself when it’s time. Using Eric O. as a reference, brake grease under the brake pad retainers, the parts of the caliper that touch the back of the brake pad, and piston face.

Should you use anti seize or brake lubricant for the pads which contact the caliper bracket?
brake lubricant on brake parts that move. Anti seize for the back of brake rotors. I've also never put lubricant between the pads and piston, not sure why ppl do it, never had noise come from there either.
