The rotors came in. They look great. Ended up painting the rotor hats and edges dark charcoal metallic to match my brembos up front. Used a 2k single stage paint with hardener, will see how it holds up to the heat. Did a fitup and found out FK8 CTR brackets will not work. Even though they are for 305mm rotors and do bolt up to the knuckle, the mounting points on the FK7 knuckle are not as far away from the center of the hub as they are on the FK8 so the brackets are too short when installed on FK7. I will be making cast iron caliper brackets or caliper bracket adapters for this kit to get the correct spacing for the diameter of the 305mm rotors on FK7 hubs. Photos are below. I will be using my old brake pads and driving around the block slowly to wear through the rotor paint and the the geomet coating before swapping in brand new pads. Will update when I get the brackets fabbed up.

Photos are of my custom made 305mm rotor installed on 2018 ex hatch. This should fit for all non type r 10th and 11the gen civic and the new integra.

Nice work! Just curious, how much did it cost to get these custom rotors made?

A lot. The goal is to create a kit that I can sell for side income. I have invested a great deal of time and effort into this. I am an engineer by trade. I wanted a rear big brake kit and couldn't find one so I decided to make one. I used to have a business selling short throw shifters for cable shifted Hondas around 20 years ago. Pretty much changed the shifter game with my height and throw adjustable shifters for cable shifted Hondas like accords and preludes. Later civics and rsx. Now most cars use cable shifters and its cool to see that most aftermarket kits out there are a spin on my original designs.

Hello, I have 10th gen Civic from Canada imported in Europe. I saw that all rotors here are slightly larger on the EDM versions compared to those in Canada and US. Does anyone know, if I can I use 293mmx25mm front , 282mmx9mm rear on my civic ?
