Whats up CIVICX, This is my 2018 Civic SI coupe! I purchased it at DCH Paramus in Bergen County NJ on July 3rd 2018. Within the first 3 months of owning it I fell in love and cant see my self letting it go! I have an idea of what I want to do with the build of this car but no real plans, just taking it one mod at a time! I will update this first post as mods and changes take place. I try to keep my posts pic heavy to so you can see whats truly going on with the car. My previous car was a 1998 Integra GS, I will occasionally post pics of that to on here to keep it interesting!

Just picked up an Injen CAI courtesy of bryantlopez631 !! Going to hold off on putting this bad boy on for a little while. I plan to have it powder coated along with some other parts I buy in the near future in a mystery color!

"It was the best of times, it was the worst of times"

Today was great and horrible all at once. I finally had time to delete my chrome above the doors using Peel Coat/PlastiDip. I taped everything off and covered most of the car to make sure there was no overspray! Following all the instructions I did multiple coats waiting 5 minuted between them and it turned out pretty good! The expectations were low for this but i give it a 7.5 out of 10, some spots peeled up from the tape even though there was some space left between. But all in all it will work until I figure out a better option.

And here is where the day got freakin fantastic!!!! I was on my way to pick up my friend, and as I always do I took the sharp turn off of the highway onto a side street. But today I decided to store my eye glass case in the bottom cubby by the usb port instead of the door. As I took the turn the case slid from the cubby area and right under my break pedal! I scuffled to slow down but was not able to completely slow down in the turn and hopped the curb and missed a pole by a few inches! But in the process of monster trucking this curb my drivers side front and rear wheel took some major curbing..... Its safe to say i am pissed and relieved all at the same time. I am thankful I missed that pole and did no major damage to the suspension! Today could have gone much worse so I count my blessing.

I also received my Injen hydrosheild in the mail so thats good! just waiting to get the intake back from poweder coating then its going on the car!!

Today was a good one all thanks to @ACUITY and BumperPlugs.com I started the day off with finally plugging those horrible front license plate holes from the dealer. It looks a hell of a lot better, still noticeable up close but at least its the same color now!

Also had time to install some seriously awesome hardware from Acuity Instruments. I purchase the shifter base bushings, shifter rocker upgrade, centering spring, and shifter cable bushing! First off the hardware came in packaging like a candy store so I was drooling! The quality and finish of the products where bar none! No sponsorships here but honestly the products were so good I would pay again if I had to!

And finished the day off with a good cleaning, now on to the pictures!

11/04/18 Went to Hawks Nest Highway today to rip through the curves with some friends. Also Temporarily traded my stock SI shift knob for a red leather Type r one from my buddy @jersey2zero1 to see how it feels! Decided to raise the shift knob a little less then an inch to give it more of a circuit style shift, and it feels great that way! Gave it a nice cleaning and it looks awesome!

Installed the CNT Catless down pipe and tuned the car with the @KTuner V1. Everything went pretty smooth except I did not realize that the bottom holes on the down pipe were not threaded! So I had to take a ride to the hardware store to get some new stainless hardware for the DP. But after that the installation went smoothly! Picking up the intake tomorrow and that will be put in then in tomorrow!

Told you I would put the intake in the Next day lol! Also had a problem today, The cel light came on, which made me pretty nervous! so as soon as I got home I shot an email to @KTuner asking for guidance, and what I got back was just a perfect example of awesome customer service! I literally had an email back in like 5 minutes telling me exactly what to do and how to look up my error codes and fix it! Turns out I just forgot to disable the P0139 code. super quick fix and @KTuner really won me as a customer! But onto some photos now!

The vibrant ultra quiet makes the exhaust sound pretty good, love it. Nice looking build so far, I like the yellow on the intake a lot.

Those pictures in the first post, fucking A quality..... lunar metal Civic in those photos looks more upscale than Mercedes E classes I have seen posed for similar photos in similar lighting. Third picture in that post is photographic gold.
