Body side molding on the type-R

Anyone have any opinions on them or have them? I've had it on previous cars but I dunno if it actually helps with this one. I'm not a fan of the look but function over form I guess. I feel the same way about these hideous Rally Armor mud flaps I needed.

I have the side moldings on mine. The dealer added them to all the CTR’s. I can’t decide whether it looks better with or without it. But, it has grown on me. At least my doors are sort of protected from door dings.

My R actually have both body side moldings on and also with the Rally Armor mud flap on.
I had the side molding on my previous car, and it actually protected the door once when I was sitting in the car with the car next to me decided to swing the door fully open.

Looks better without the moulding to me but it does serve a purpose

It’s a no from me,, the car is already busy and they are quite ugly.
