Yes I have the same noise, metal on metal. Really annoying. At first I thought something was loose so I re tightened every nut/bolt on the front suspension and that didn't help. Then I disconnected the swaybar completely to rule out sway bar link or bushing noise and that didn't help. So it has to be the shocks or the upper mounts. I really hope the shocks do it.
Lemme know if the shocks fix your problems I wont be getting mine for another couple of weeks.

Changed out the front shocks and upgraded to swift 10k spring at same time. I left the bottom shock body attached to the hub, undid swaybar link and loosened shock top bolt to drop the assembly down. I left upper shock mount bolted in, just had to unthread shock and spring from bottom shock assembly. Really simple.

The good news is my noise stopped. My shocks were not leaking but something inside must have been messed up. I noticed to adjust my old shock with the dampening knob they were really hard to turn and the new ones click so easily so not sure what was messed up but it's better now. Now lunch break then to install prl Inlet pipe.

Hope this helps with your install. @LampRod

Thank you, glad to see it fixed your problems. Im going to raise my front suspension up today so it wont mess with my axle for the time being.

Just drove 1.5 hours to my dad's house and silence the entire ride, was so nice. Still get anxious when I see a bump waiting for the knocking but nothing.

I just rose the car in the front about an inch, helped a lot to reduce to noise.
Did you have your really low? I don't go all the way down, just a little lower than the eibachs. The road going to my work has 4 speed humps that's I have to go over everyday so it would be impractical for me to go that low...

Ya I would say I had my car pretty low, more than 2 inches all around. The rear tucks a little. I really liked how it looks but ya its very impractical.

Here is a photo with the leak. You can see the top threads look wet and between the spring there's some fluid trapped.
