I was almost to work this morning when I shifted to fourth and started hearing a grinding noise and feeling jerking like gears we're grinding and catching every so often. I coasted into my works parking lot and parked her. What's the best none 800hp rated replacement gears to get to replace what I blew up?

The 1-4 gear upgrade is pretty expensive.

I would say stock tranny from wrecked Si if you can find one close to you and not planning to go for big power in the future.

That will probably be quite annoying to daily drive depending on your commute and driving style. You could try to find a HPD 4th gear set but you'd need a hookup as they're only available to Honda Racing partners. The other option would be the PPG gear set which is like 5k.
The Honda master mechanic I used for my eman clutch said he can get me the fourth gear if needed. I guess I'll be going down that route. I'm having her towed to his place this morning. That kit is overpriced imo.

I'm at 37k now so I've put about 7k with tune I think, maybe a little more but not much.

Just keep in mind, it's a much smaller ratio, more built for the track. Your going to lose speed at the top plus you are going to be at higher RPM's cruising on the hwy, making going 70 mph a louder experience.

As others have already mentioned, you might be better sourcing a used trans
What's top speed with the new ratios?

With the Mfactory gears, "crusing" at 75mph in 6th would be around 4k RPM

Not great for daily driving. You'd probably average 20 mpg mixed lol
Meh, yeah I don't mind gas mileage per say necessarily.
