Answering my own post to help the next guy:
The product itself is a nice idea, but in reality the installation is faulty. If the magnets don't line up perfectly it will not turn on or off with opening the door. Next issue, even if it does install perfectly, a small nudge of the sill plate will off set it, then back to figuring out exactly where to line the magnet up. I like that its more or less non invasive but the install and magnet line up is a pain. If the magnets were larger this maybe a much easier fix. Notice all the 6,000 reviews on the website are people who clearly do not speak English as a first language. One reviewer states, delivers to LOS ANGELES. Who writes that in a review! Anyway, it's a good idea, but needs work.
