Wondering if anyone has come up with a cool solution for the blank switches beside the traction control button. I think it's so silly that Honda left all of these blanks here on this car as if there is a higher spec model which would use them... It looks so cheap

I have just one blank switch. I'm insalling auxiliary led lights and there will be the switch.

My 5th button is for..... wait for it.....
washing the headlamps.
Yes! I can wash the headlaps separate from the windshield!
I can't understand why so many variations in the world for the same car...

Well, our buttons are:
- Lane keep assistant
- VSA OFF
- Collision detection OFF
- Parking sensors sounds OFF

Mysterious blank one is mysterious!
Oh yes, I had forgotten that the European models had more actual buttons there. North American (or at least Canadian) models only have traction control. I'd be interested to see what you end up doing with auxillary lights though, Gabriel

They are functional but I still have some work to do. I will write on the forum as soon as my project is completed. The ideea was to be able to remove them in seconds and not to drill holes in the car.

Civic is a global platform, and even when it comes to Type-R regions get to sometimes pick the application of features (Lane Keep Assist) and then agree to the extra MSRP amount...or r head light washers for example are safety regulation in some regions, so they must apply. For North America, those features were cut based on total cost of the vehicle. Sometimes regions have to make sacrifices on features to get MSRP at the right price point for the segment.
