Looks good! I always thought it sat a little high for my taste. How do you like the height?
Suits me just fine

Suits me nicely! I'm 6'0" tall. Main thing for me is that i won't get burned during these hot Texas summers.. Lol and I like that it matches our interior.

This is the one from King Motorsports. The stitching at the tops of each section is rough on your hand while shifting though. The lower stitches are smooth but that upper one is quite annoying.

Can tell in comparison that this is legit. Positioning is correct as well as the stitching matches the Mugen website with the double stitch up top and how it alternates going down left/right.

I like the Honda Access one with the red leather but it's so expensive! The Mugen knob would be good too if it sat higher than stock. Maybe half an inch to an inch taller. Anyone know if there's some sort of short extender I can use in conjunction with the Mugen?

Looks sweet! Any pics of it installed?
Nah my car in shop getting bumper replaced. Stupid truck tire on the highway hit me. I'll share one its installed with feedback.

Anyone who wants to get one done like this just ask them to duplicate order #9703.

Thanks. I’m curious how the size and weight compares to the stock knob.

Finally! As promised, pictures for anyone who wanted to see this. Quite a weight difference. Actually a tad larger, but feels good in the hand. Not too big for me and I'm 5'8 and have pretty medium size hands. Only complaint is I wish they did the logo stuff a little darker, but not a big deal. Feels good rowing through the gears, but I haven't driven it yet because I just installed this at work. Luckily I run a restaurant and had easy access to a scale. Overall, very happy.

Side note : sits a touch higher, but I over tightened the lock nut thing to drop it maybe a centimeter. Sits just slightly higher than stock now.

Cheers,

Wish Honda made the Titanium knob for the Type R like they did on the S2000.

You mean OEM or Accessory? The accessory S2000 Ti knob will fit our cars if you want. Not a ball shape, I know.

I got the same one on eBay and it came today. Great quality, looks legit except the stitching isn’t at 12/4/8 o’clock, mine is more like 1/5/9. But feels really solid, stitching is clean and for $75 I have no complaints.

I prefer the FatBoy Hebi Bebi knockoff, I had one in my Z, I just took that one and used a tap to redo the threads and it fits fine in my R.
Of course I would prefer the Hebi Bebi with the Turtle in Red, but I don't want to spend that much.
I wrote the company that made my original knockoff knob and hopefully they'll put me on the waiting list for a red one.

Alternatively, I could have this one powder coated red, but nobody wants to fool with powder coating something so trivial-at least here in Orlando. If anyone knows a powder coating outfit there in Orlando area that would accommodate me that would be awesome.
