They're not...... Just the turbine housing. No manifold on the K20C1 anyway.
I understand but by turbocharger I meant the internal wheels of it within the housing. Are they not? When I hear core charge I usually see vendors referring to a complete unit.

All they're selling you is a ported turbine housing. That's all the core charge covers. The housing unbolts from the turbo and slides off the CHRA. Only a few bolts holding the housing to the rest of the turbo. It might be a V-band connection actually judging by the way it looks.

Has anyone seen any dyno graphs of the TDI-North or 7Mod hybrid turbos? It would be very interesting to see at what RPM they start building boost. The HKS kit just looks like crap in my opinion, power first at 6000rpm and then you have to shift at 7500, not much of a register to play with. That turbo will not work well on street and probably not even on most tracks. You need a broad torque range to be fast!

Looks like they're using an octane booster?
As well as Methanol Injection.

Which probably accounts for a big amount of the gains. Vit added meth using the Motec ecu and it made big numbers on the stock turbo.
