Hi guys and gals!
Over the years I've used many many shift knobs. Different variants of OEM, ebay knock off junk, I've spent hundreds on single knobs of all materials from delrin to titanium.
Throughout all of the shift knobs I have tried, there is one my mind would always think back to.
The Karcepts black anodized aluminum shift knob.
The reason why I love this knob is because of the size of my hands. I don't like ball shaped knobs because it's awkward to grip, and I don't like touching my shift boots. I've seen them wear out prematurely due to people's fingers touching the leather repeatedly.
As you can see my 4 fingers can grip the knob and not hang below, potentially touching the shift boot.
Picture of hand for scale
The knob is weighted at 205 grams. Not too much which is my preference after trying 800+ gram knobs and super light carbon fiber knobs.
They offer 3 different options here
All the same price which I think it's pretty cool.
I am in no way associated with karcepts. Like I said after using so many knobs I'm just very happy with their products. I hope any big handed guys/girls out there who have this problem find this helpful!
Finally, a pic of it installed
