Hello again guys, I just wanted to see your guys' opinion on whats the best weighted shift knob out there for our cars. I'm not the biggest fan of the OEM shift knob and was looking for something better. Let me know your guys opinions, Thanks!

i run the skunk 2 shift knob and love it. it's been around a long time you might like the shape and weight. one thing to know is it will burn your hand in the summer! so gloves or a towel until it cools down

I had the Perrin weighted shift knob but found I didn't like the shape so switched to an unweighted older type r knob and like it much better. I found I like the lighter feel over weighted. I didn't find the extra weight made shifting any easier it just maybe dampened some vibration. But the perrin was a very solid and we'll made knob for sure, and it fit really nice with the stock boot

I also run the Skunk2, I really like it except for how hot it gets. I can't find any delrin options that are a similar shape and weight, that would be ideal.

If you don't want a metal one that will burn up your hand in the summer, I'd recommend the Superklasse or 27won leather knobs. They both offer black leather + red stitched ones to match the Si & CTR interiors.

I personally have a Superklasse Runabout knob and I love it. It's at around 350g, compared to the OEM one that is around 180g.

Recently got this NRG Carbon Fiber weighted shift knob (SK-301BC-2-W) ~$35 on ebay to complement my upgraded shifter (CTR shifter + Acuity bits). Found out about this on another thread, and mainly got it cause I wanted a heavier knob that wasn't metal.

Raceseng.com has some nice metal and delrin options for our cars, but they are very expressive depending on the knob. But there are a bunch of options. Def worth a look

I rock this S2K titanium OEM https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001E3HUX2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Loving it so far. Took away much of the notchiness from 2->3. Still feels a little notchy from time to time, but much improved over stock and I'm not complaining anymore. About twice the weight over stock. Nothing beats OEM feel IMO. Gets warm/hot in the northeast summer sun but never scorching and cools down instantly when you wrap your hand around it. Anything heavier will not be good to your gearbox IMO.

EDIT: It didn't get scorching hot in June, but for the past couple of weeks, it got pretty hot and took sometime to cool down. But no biggies, make sure to bring a glove or cover it with a sock.

I'm a fan of both the Mishimoto CF knob and the Acuity esco

The Mishi is smaller and lighter, and doesnt get hot or cold

The Acuity is heavier, and does get hot and cold

Both have great in hand feel and both are an improvement to the stock knob
