That's what I ended up doing with mine. They look good to me so I'm happy with it. Plus i have it hooked up to a switch that lights up when i press the button so i know that it's on from the inside of the car.

Very nice, I was hoping you had installed them in the lower grille areas under headlights. It seems like it would fit in the lower part.

Well the problem with putting them where you were stating is that when the lights are placed in those areas, the lights no longer point forward towards the normal direction. Instead they point more so towards the sides of the car. This can blind the crap out of other drivers and give you a ticket as well. Plus I didn't want that plastic to be touched after I had found that out as it could mess with the look of the car.
