Best Chrome Delete?

Ladies and Gentlemen,

I installed at "Chrome Delete" vinyl kit about 6 months after I got my car. Kaiju just turned 4 this past weekend, and I noticed that the vinyl has begun to crack and peel along its upper edge.

Does anyone have a recommendation on whose Chrome Delete kit I should use to re-do the job?

Is this something I need to expect to replace every 3-4 years?

No offense to 11th Gen owners, but in my opinion, the 11th Gen deletes the majority of the 10th Gen's style and personality. However, I must admit that 4 doors appeals to me when I pick the kids up from school on a rainy day.

I installed kooltint chrome delete on my car around 4yrs ago and the vinyl began to fade a few months ago.

I was planning on removing the old one and going with jets vinyl thats sold on unityperformance.

Or going to a vinyl shop and having them do both my chrome trim and the window pillars are those are all faded/scratched up as well. I got one quote back so far for both the trim and pillars for $250 (flat or gloss black)

My eBay kit from 'Khrome Delete' is 5 and starting to get cracks on edges. I have a set from Jets waiting in the wings

The eBay kit was Avery Dennison vinyl, so a quality brand. I'd guess that's just about the age makes it to

Good info ... and ouch!

I've thought of having my roof done in a matter carbon vinyl ... but it's just more than I wanna pay for what might not have any real visual impact ... (Modern Steel Metallic)

How are your pillars holding up?

I haven't done anything special to them. I had some stick on fake cf panels I was going to try out, but never did. They're in a random parts bin atm

They look fine though. They have the same spray sio2 coating I use on the rest of the car and that's it

They stick onto the chrome so the chrome is covered. I’ve got 5 years on them and they still look great.

I had mine done professionally 4 years ago, and it's doing the same thing.
But only on the side of the car that faces the sun.

Pillars are just fine.
If I were going to wrap them, I'd do matte carbon ...

Buy some Plasti Dip spray and some good quality painters tape. It has lasted 5 years on my car without an issue.
