Best aftermarket rim and tire size? Which offset looks best?

Looking to get new rims and tires but I don't know which size will look best on my 2020 civic hatchback sport. I have nice stock oem honda wheels but I want a a meaner look. I want wheels that barely stick out beyond the fender but not too much. Which offset looks best and what rims are recommended? I will attach pictures of what my car looks like now and the stock wheels that it has.

Recommending a wheel is tough since it’s personal picks, but most common wheel sizes on these vehicles being 18x8.5 or 18x9 with either a +35 or 30 offset. Anything past +25 and that’s really pushing it. Recommend +30 if you want a slight poke, depending on your later suspension and tire set up you might encounter some slight rubbing. If you can go for some summer tires as they add to the aggressive look you are trying to go for, but that’s only if your weather allows for it. Check out this thread I posted.

Hah, I have the standard 2020 EX hatch rims, and I'm looking for a set just like yours to swap to, or the black ones in the same style. I absolutely LOVE the looks of those 18s for stock wheels.

Yes, you can still reuse the stock tire. Even if you got a 18x9 wheel you could still use the stock tire. I went 255/35 because if I’m getting a wider wheel might as well get a slightly wider tire. Also because it’s a low profile tire, so helped when it came to lowering my car.

Im a fan of konig wheels my set up is 18x 9 +25 it has some poke though.

Yes you can. my wheels are 18x8 and they fit a 255/35 on there
