Backup camera moisture?

Would it be possible to have moisture in my back up camera? I have a 2018 civic sedan and I don’t know if it’s always been like this but when I put it in reverse it’s kind of clear in the centre but the edges are blurry.

Yup, definitely possible. It's not an unknown issue.

Some people have some success drying it out with a hair dryer (NOT with a heat gun). Otherwise - time for a new one.

I had a similar problem. The camera was replaced under warranty and has been fine ever since. If I recall correctly the camera is pretty easy to replace and the part was less than $100. I think there may be videos on YouTube showing the process. If not for the Civic than maybe the accord (pretty similar).

Camera seems to have cleared up some white in the summer. Not sure if it’s worth replacing or if it can even be replaced without taking that plastic piece off of the trunk lid. That’s something I don’t wanna get into doing.
