Axle leak?

Have a 19 Si and did my first oil change today after 4,000 miles and 0 percent on the MM. Anyways noticed some oil splatter on the under tray and investigated further. Saw splatter again on top of the steering rack as well as what looks to be a leak from the right side axle. Going to bring it to the dealer of course under warranty. Anybody else had this issue? Someone else in another thread said it was a valve cover gasket that was taken care of by the dealer.

Just looks like some excess machine oil splattering out from the bearing. But I have seen some threads of people noticing cracks around their engine, mainly oil pan. I would check around the engine for stress cracks and also check anywhere fluid could leak onto the axle, as it could be that fluid falls on the axle and is flung everywhere when it's rotating.

The pattern definitely looks like what you are saying with the axle flinging the oil around. Have an appointment next Mon to get it checked. I put in a CTR rmm about 1,000 miles ago and didnt notice this at all so hopefully the stiffer mount didn’t cause the issue.

My 18 Si had the same half shaft leak at 6k miles and was replaced via warranty.

Took it into the dealer today and confirmed it's a half shaft bearing leak. I only have 4,000 miles on it. They need to order parts so I'll have to bring it in another time. Thanks for replies guys.

Brought it in today and it got done in only 2 hours. Right side half shaft was replaced under warranty.
