I dont even know what to say about this design except I cant believe the sheer stupidity of the front tab. When a person wants something that doesnt interfere with the window/channel they purchase vent visors which are stick on. Not in channel. These are a combo that for whatever brilliant reason has a forward tab that they want you to wedge under the side mirror edge. The tab is like an 1/8th inch thick! Literally if I installed these like they want my mirror plastic would be bowed outward HORRIBLY.

Also- IT WOULD CHANNEL RAIN WATER DOWN BEHIND THE MIRROR!!!!

I mean what in the actual ****

Dont even know what to do with these now.... pathetic

I just cut off the tabs with a Dremel and sanded them smooth. But I agree, they shouldn't have been there at all. If you jam them in, your windows won't close.

I only added black out wrap material in the front area by the mirror. I attached directly to the chrome as much as possible. Seen a few examples of them coming off with whatever chrome delete out in the wild. If you look for the chrome at some angles you can see it, but you kinda have to know it's like that to notice.
