Average Age of a 2016 Civic Owner? [POLL]

I am 59 and will be getting a Civic EXL or Touring. My first Honda was a 1987 Accord Hatchback and I begged my Dad to let me get the EX which had electric windows. He said the kind that rolled up manually were safer It was a stick shift and I keep that car until an epic hail storm destroyed it 15 years later. My daughter had an 06 Civic and while she was off to school I drove that car everyday and have wanted a Civic ever since.

57 and will be getting a Touring sedan or Sport Touring HB, my 1st Civic as well as my 1st Honda was a 1990 white LX 5speed and what an awesome car at the time!

59.5 and getting a 2017 Civic Si Sedan if they ever ship. In my youth I had two lowered Datsun 510's, and a lowered VW Rabbit.

My first Honda was the first Civic Si Hatchback, sold in 1986. I followed that car up 14 years later with a 2000 Civic Si Coupe. I hope, 17 years later, to follow that Si up with a 2017 Si Sedan. I need the four doors for grandkids in car seats. Thirty-one years of Civic Si's and still counting.

My wife wasn't on board initially with buying a new car for a new driver, but I "rationalized" it based on: 1) the added safety with the sensing package, and 2) it gave us a nice 3rd car option in the "fleet". Honda did a great job with the new Civic and when they mention that it was benchmarked against the A3 during development, I can truly see/appreciate that (my DD is an A6). Had 7 Honda's in the past between my wife and I (91 Integra, 98 Accord EX, 99 Accord EXV6, 04 Accord V6, 03 Pilot, 07 Pilot and 12 Pilot), so always been a fan of their products.

Yes, very nice that dad bought his daughter this very nice car as her first car. She must be a very responsible 16 year old. I'm just not sure how the car will weather dings, dents, mirror breakages, etc. Things that happen to a kid's first car.

Im 34 and have had several older civics previously but now I'm ready for a brand new hatchback.

I would also guess that those in the 20s lease and those in the 30s buy as a demographic

This is my third Civic and I totally understand the #HondaLove! You can't beat a Honda for safety and durability. My dad bought my first Civic too.

I learned to drive manual on my father's '76 1st Gen Civic hatch. I have owned civic variants off and on for 34 yrs, so you know I am up there in age. I am a youngster at heart, especially when driving my '98 Civic hatch manual.

57, have 2 perfectly working 6th gens, didn't need a new car, hated the 7,8 and 9 th gens but when I saw the concept last year, then test drove the EXT in July, had to have it. I would get a second job if necessary to pay for it.
