Just got my civic sedan, and it has auto folding mirrors. The auto feature doesn't work, only manual mode. When I lock it with auto mode on, the mirrors don't fold. Is there something wrong or did I configure it wrong

You got it wrong, it's not automatic folding - it's power folding side mirror.

There's an OBD2 module you can purchase so it does that.

Mine is also manual power folding, not auto.
I am from Argentina, EX-T model
On the other hand, my car has not auto locking doors when in drive, and from what my dealer says it is not possible to activate the function.

How did you configure it, exactly?

Maybe because the cars are much cheaper to buy in NA? :)
but even when fully equipped we can't get those features ... and yes, your euro pricing is incredible

Australian model also has powered folding mirrors. But they are not automatic, you have to press a button to make them fold in.

try to press the lock button twice or keep it for a longer time. If it doesn't work you can get the function with a obd module, which will also close all the windows when you lock the doors.

So, took a look today into the vehicle settings of my car. I have the auto folding option on and what that does is enabling the folding of the mirrors when you lock the car the second time (locking it the second time within 10 seconds of ghe first lock closes any windows left open, the moon roof and folds the mirrors).
The other option is Manual Only and allows the mirrors to be folded only via the button on the drivers door.

So, with the Auto Folding turned on, in order to fold the mirrors you have to press twice on the lock button (either on the remote or on the door /trunk if the car has keyless entry).

You can tap into your acc+ and add a relay with 1 N.C. & 2 NO contacts to make it automaticly fold when the car is off, and default to the button position when it’s on.
