Nice! Finally we get to hear stories about dealer adding that $17K ADM claiming Honda priced it wrong. You will always be able to get one, don't worry about that. It might be used, but you'll get one if you really want one. I want to say 50% of those buying within the first month will sell before the end of the year.

This. Many people will overextend themselves financially or realize it doesn't fit their lifestyle (or spouses). When they show up used. Even less leverage for dealers. Yay!

Good luck getting one of the only 6,000 made for US markets this year espescially with ADM..it's gonna be a tuff car to aquire if you don't know the right people

thats 6000. There were 2700 on US soil now for launch and other 3000 will be here by mar 31 next year.

I had a dealer on the phone for MSRP so I declined one call and answered the other two just to say I was already in a car. The other two were then posted in the NC/SC thread and someone else here grabbed the cars.

Sounds to me like there will be 2700 model year and calendar year 2017 CTR, unless anyone has more details.

All anyone "knows" at this point is that 6000 cars were slated for this Fiscal Year ending 3/31/18.

With only 6000 total, that is less than lamborghini huracan which just hit 8000 units. I suggest everyone get one in any color at any ADM as fast as possible or risk of not getting one or getting a used one at the price with ADM anyway. Just IMHO.

6000 is right in line with Golf R and Focus RS, both of which are selling below MSRP today. The ADMs are here today and they'll be gone tomorrow. It's normal. Much hotter cars than the CTR eventually lose their ADM as long as they're not a predefined limited qty like 1000 units total or something... which the CTR definitely isn't. The idea that you risk not getting one at all by not paying ADM or by taking a color you don't want (even crazier to me) is just buying into the dealers' BS.

Do what you need to do to make yourself happy but I think those of us willing to wait a tiny bit are going to be just fine.
