Thanks for the link. They missed the flywheel issue. Ok not that common but anyway.
Interesting enough, people are still flocking to buy a Type R despite these issues. They have courage for this and I admire them. I don't have. Just the thought of getting them and being left with the hot potato on my hands. Then being at the mercy of the dealer or loosing serious money(different situation in Europe than US) to get rid of the car.
I really hope Honda fixes them. I guess they'll be busy with this for a while. I wait to see how further sold cars will be doing.

Your basic point is valid, but some dealers/service advisers/service managers are much more willing to go to bat for the customer than others.
