Because delivery could take 3-6+ months?

Not about budget nor whether you can afford or not but more about being Impatient?

Right now with Sport Touring Hatchback other expected until late December or even the Si/Type R that you'll settle for a lesser trim?

I know it's strange but curious.

I ordered a 2017 Hatchback Sport (I live in Ottawa, ONT). I was told it would be in mid-December or later. Got a call on Friday that the car was in. I couldn't believe it. I went to the dealership to give them some paperwork and walked the lot to ensure it was actually there.

I pick it up Wednedsay. I am beyond excited.

That's my car! Is it a stick?

I would have liked to wait to see if there's an Si hatch, but been putting off the new car purchase too long. Will be funny if they announce one on the 15th though.

But i'm happy with the Sport, it's got all the performance I need.

That's why I have my sedan touring lol. I really wanted the hatchback, but more than that I wanted the Type R.

I ordered my EX with sensing in August and picked it up early October. I got lucky that the dealer was able to snag one being built at the factory that met my criteria.

I needed a new car. I bought a 2016 cvt trash touring sedan. I should have waited for 2017 6spd ex-t sedan instead. Oh well. Will be trading this in in a few years anyways.

That is a beauty. Congrats.

Interesting I got off my shift this morning and a Sport Hatchback pulled in as I was leaving.

He bought it at same dealership too. Hopefully I get an early call as well for my Sport Touring.

Well ideally I don't buy first year model, but I would have had to file bankruptcy if I kept my mini cooper a day longer. (Mini breaks a lot.)

If you want to talk about impatient, try working at a dealer and being able see all these cars coming off the truck and telling yourself you cant have one yet.

I have never had a CVT before and it totally kills the driving experience for me. I should have driven it longer during the test drive to realize this. My mistake. I will never get a car with a cvt ever in the future. It's like training wheels. . . . .

Patiently waiting for the Si. If they screw the pooch and fail to offer a decent powertrain and amenities, I'll defect to an Accord Sport 6MT.
