Are Type R’s showing up more on lots now?

There’s two within 20 miles of me right now, and that is after I’ve gone without seeing one for about 10 months.
One has even been on the lot for about a month.
I’m tempted to trade my Si in, but I think I’ll resist for now, or at least until I come across a grey one.

I’m sure there are CTRs all over lots... just gotta search for them.

There’s a Chevy dealership close to my work and the sales manager must love them- I’ve seen at least two used ones go through their doors over the past 10 months, when I was originally looking for mine. at high prices. One was a trade in (was traded in for a truck... go figure). Not sure about the Other one.

Just scouring the Canadian version of Craigslist (Kijiji), there’s a handful of them, all across the country that are used and for sale. Prices seem to generally be holding, though.

Checking Cargurus and Carvana, I've seen a flood of 2018 CTRs in my general area.

Y'all seem to be referring to used R's.
The ones I'm talking about are new.
Not to upset anyone, but I wouldn't buy a used Type R, Sti, etc.

Again like I said depends on your area. Around here just talked to a guy today that bought one. He said the 12 dealers he went to looking for lowest price ALL had new Rs on the lot.

I see a couple New CTRs as well but the majority of them all have 4-5k markup. It's funny with the 2018s I'm seeing available with a few having low miles on them (below 4,000 miles) and are going for $34k give or take a few hundred.

There's about 17 within a 50 mi radius of me and about 11 on carvana with 97% of them being 18'. I'm seeing more new popping up than used.

I haven't seen a new one on a lot or anything in a few weeks. I heard rumor that one of the dealers near me had a blue one but I never saw it (pretty sure it sold before I got there to see it.)

Carvana's offer to me in June at 3,000 miles on my 2019 was $35.2K. Carvana's offer to me this week at 6,500 miles on my 2019 was $31.4K. Take that for what you will. My opinion is that the market is being relatively flooded.

I saw a dirty CW CTR near Fun Spot. Like, it needed a wash, but it 100% was a genuine Type R.
