My 2019 Si Coupe had a bit of a bump the other day so I have some body shop work to be done. I have credit for a stock hood replacement, $460. I can 'upgrade?' go with a carbon fiber hood with some additional out of pocket (~$500) or stay with stock. Has anyone out there done this? Either by repair credit or straight out modification. I say, "upgrade" as I think for me, it is strictly a cosmetic upgrade. Anyone have any pics of CF hoods on their car? Here is a link to what I am looking at; https://seiboncarbon.com/products/o...6-2017-honda-civic-coupe-sedan-hatchback.html

Plenty of folks have upgraded to a CF hood and it can work well cosmetic wise depending on the car color imo - I plan on swapping hoods (TR style most likely) at some point but I personally don’t like the idea of having a mismatched colored hood and will color match mine when I do get one.
