It's as if nobody's bought one, lol.

... there's gotta be someone out there who can speak with some validity on it.

Yeah I found that one too but looked in the comments and it seems as if he's not taking questions, lol. I hit him up anyway just now there so we'll see what happens.

Thanks!

I too am curious to hear some feedback from anyone running this exhaust, I’m comsidering swapping my Greddy Tri Tip for the Spec-L. Any feedback would greatly be appreciated!

I have it on my FK8. I'm planning on writing a review quite soon. It's only been 1 month now.

I own one now. Got all my questions answered, haha
How is it? there's a used one on sale locally. Been contemplating between the Spec L vs. the Legamax.

I really dont want something drone-y.

Did you notice a loss of power? By that I mean, does it feel bottlenecked to you?
Last question, did you change air intakes as well?

This is an excellent exhaust. It's super light weight (lighter than OEM), simple in design, of excellent quality, and doesn't drone at all - at any speed. It's actually quite quiet in the cabin until you load the engine, then the volume comes way up over OEM. Under 3,000 rpm its noise is on par with the stock one. I like that about it. In cruising, it gives a nice mellow sporty rumble and when slow shifting, the burbles & pops are intoxicating.

Bottle necked me? No, of course not. It's common knowledge now that the OEM exhaust isn't a point of restriction, even in tuned fk8's making all the power one can with full bolt ons & a tune... the Spec L is larger diameter than OEM.

The car's trapping 111 mph with a 2.45 60' time right now, so the power is there. Traction is an issue.

Other mods include Hondata, RV6 ceramic coated catless down pipe, a drop in k&n filter, PRL intercooler and stage 1 intake tube, Michimoto catch can, and PTP blankets over the turbo and turbo inlet pipe.. that's it. TQ is enough to easily spin 3rd at 3,500 rpm with traction control off.

Does that help?
