I’m looking at getting some MST MT30s and that’s the only size they offer them in. I’ll be on stock suspension for the foreseeable future and maybe lowering with whitelines (0.8”) drop.

I’ll probably run 245/ 40 / R18s as I don’t want rubbing. Anyone running a similar fitment with or without lowering?

Thanks in advance.

255 35 18s on +36 wheels with stock suspension, Trunk is probably weighted down just a little. I feel like a small drop like .8 would be fine.

The pic above is a Type-R. On an Si, 18x9.5 +35 will poke past the fenders and a 245 tire will have a decent amount of stretch. Unless you're specifically going for a poke + stretch look (which I personally hate but to each their own) you want +45 offset to be flush, and a 255 or 265 tire to not be stretched.

Mine are 18x9 +35 so I can imagine they might stick out a little more. Also on 245/40/18

That’s true, I’ve seen the fitment of the rims I want but on the coupe model. That’s why I’m not sure if it’ll be different on the sedan.

That's a pretty aggressive setup you're looking at! 34mm more poke than the OEM wheels. You would probably rub at stock height on dips and with passengers if you went with 245/40.

You could probably eliminate any rubbing with some minor fender work if you were dead set on those specs and wanted to lower your car.

FYI, there's a whole subforum for wheel/tires and a thread dedicated for aggressive fitments. You could scroll through to find similar fitments.
