Anyone ran 245/35 or 255/35 tires instead of the 30 series instead yet?

Ordered 255/35/20 and am getting them installed tomorrow.

Will post pics soon after.
That will be great. What brand tires did you get?

Tire rack has a close out on riken raptors.

Definitely never heard of them, but the reviews are solid, and for 90 bucks a tire, can’t be too bad for summers.

Thanks.

Just to let you know I had a really bad experience with Tirerack closeout tires. I believe the reason they do that is because they have sat on the shelf for several years. I bought a set of four and all four of them exploded due to pot holes and I had to replace all with new ones at great expense. Hope yours are in better shape.

That’s terrible. Hopefully I have better luck.

They’re installed and I’ll be picking up the car tomorrow.

Shop was totally confident in the 255/35/20 and has no concerns
That's great to hear. Hopefully you have a great experience with the tires. Let us know if any rubbing issues or anything else on ride quality that you notice.

For sure. I drive minimum 70 miles a day, so I’ll have some quick updates on ride.

Can you post some pics whenever you get the chance? Do you know if its still okay to run this size if lowered on swift springs?
I am picking up in about 12 hours. I’ll post shortly after.

I’m at stock height.

No issues at all on my ride into work. Tested full lock in the parking lot and everything was completely fine.

Nice! I’m glad everything worked out. Blue looks legit.
